Customer Service / Sales Advisor 

Sprint Engineering & Lubricants, the South-East’s most dynamic and fastest growing distributor of maintenance (MRO ) products to industry has a fantastic opportunity for a career minded, energetic person to join our internal sales team at our Gravesend service centre. You will support the branch by taking and processing customer orders, delivering excellent customer service to our customers, and supporting the general operations of the branch.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Processing customer enquiries & orders, primarily received over the telephone but also through written and email correspondence
  • Sourcing product if not in stock (premeditated supply chain + google)
  • Negotiating with suppliers / customers / handling objections / closing sales
  • Processing sales / purchase orders
  • Building and maintaining relationships with both customers and suppliers
  • Resolving customer complaints and service issues
  • Develop working relationships with team
  • Supporting all aspects of the general running of the branch

Skills / Experience Required

  • Specific experience of a fast moving busy sales office environment, an understanding of Industrial or Automotive MRO / Bearings / Transmissions / Lubricants / engineering related products / electrical / HVAC products is highly desirable
  • Product purchasing 
  • Previous customer service based sales experience is essential
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Ability to communicate at all levels verbally
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Ability to multitask, keeping a range to opportunities under control
  • Must be motivated and driven with a passion to succeed
